In today’s world, people are exposed to thousands of advertising touchpoints every day — street banners, screens in shopping centres, radio, smartphone notifications, and more! While repeated exposure to ads can capture consumer attention and drive purchasing decisions, it’s equally important to recognise the downside. This hyper-competition for attention often leads to the opposite effect — ad fatigue.

We’d like to share our experience with Entertaining Digital Signage, which was successfully introduced at the country’s key retail and marketing events in 2024–2025. It’s our answer to the challenges of today’s media landscape — shifting from interruption to engagement.

Effie Awards Ukraine

The key annual event for the country’s advertising and media industry. In 2024, Identity Invest Group not only joined as an official partner, but also introduced a brand-new approach to audience engagement — Entertaining Digital Signage.

The mission wasn’t easy: to capture the attention of the most demanding marketers and boldest creatives in the industry. And we did — with humour, visual depth, and interactivity.

The concept? A portrait gallery — but alive. Inspired by the National Portrait Gallery in London, we reimagined ordinary digital screens as living portraits — with Olga of Kyiv, Isaac Newton, and Julius Caesar as the stars — and built the entire stand as a gallery space.

Each portrait was animated and reacted when someone scanned the QR code — playing music, showing gratitude through facial expressions and gestures.

It took almost three months to make it happen. Every part of it — from the script and filming to creative, production, stand design, tech setup, equipment and IT-infrastructure — was crafted entirely in-house.

After the event, we ran the numbers — and the results of our digital experiment were pleasantly surprising:

  • Total event audience: around 600–700 attendees.

  • QR scans: 183 unique — over 30% of the entire audience.

  • Post-event effect: 36 additional shares in the five days following the event.

The audience smiled, took photos, snapped selfies, and tagged the stand on social media. It created a wave of positivity, lightness, and real emotional connection. The stand worked not just as a demonstration of technology but as a natural magnet — with no pressure, no hard selling, and no aggressive branding.

After the success of our ‘living digital gallery’ stand at Effie Awards 2024 — which captured the marketing community’s attention and attracted a third of the entire audience to interact — we knew stopping wasn’t an option. The idea that impressed even the most demanding creatives was ready to make a comeback — this time at the industry’s biggest professional event.

And the results didn’t take long:

  • 420+ unique QR scans.

  • Over 40% engagement, with around 1,000 attendees at the event.

  • Audience reaction? Laughter, curiosity, loads of selfies, social media tags, and constant buzz around the stand.

  • Valuable connections that started not with a business card, but with emotion and natural attention.

It wasn’t just about presenting our product. With Entertaining Digital Signage, we became part of the forum’s story — as meaning-makers, those who share ideas that resonate.

Car of the Year Ukraine 2025

At this event, our mission wasn’t just to show screens or remind people about us — it was to become part of the automotive experience, where every visitor comes looking for that wow effect. We presented DriverConnect Media Network — our media ecosystem that reaches over 10 million active drivers every month through digital screens and in-car radio.

Alongside dynamic, eye-catching content, we added a gamified QR code. Each scan triggered the sound of an engine, followed by dynamic screen animations — switching content and introducing the Identity Invest Group team.

RAU Expo 2025

When developing the concept for our stand at RAU Expo, we had a clear goal: to go beyond creativity and deliver a strong message about our positioning as a technological partner in the digital media networks in retail. RAU Expo is an environment where it’s essential to speak to the audience in the language of smart solutions.

So once again, our team delivered the entire project from concept to execution — content, development, post-production, layouts, installation — all in-house!

Here’s what we made happen:

– Seven 4K portrait-format screens (2160 × 3840), synchronised into one seamless canvas. Content flowed logically from one display to the next  — with every transition timed to the millisecond.

– Entertaining Digital Signage — media that interacts.
You scan — and the screen responds instantly with a visual effect. At the same time, the inotes.tv web platform opens on your phone — offering extended content from the screen in real time. No apps. Just a seamless bridge between offline and online.

– But the real wow moment came from our motion sensor integration. As soon as a visitor approached the stand, our team greeted them with applause — creating a moment where every partner felt like a star!

The result in numbers: over 150 scans from active participants — with our digital notes now living in their browsers.

RAU Expo 2025 proved once again that Entertaining Digital Signage isn’t just decoration — it’s a strategic tool. Our stand didn’t just look modern — it engaged, educated, and sold.

The audience engagement around our stand showed that we’ve found the right way to capture attention and drive action — organically, through our technology.
